India Banned 50+ Chinese Apps To Show Retaliation

After the China-India Himalayan border area clash on around 16 June 2020. The chines foreign ministry Zhao Lijian said the Indian army crossed the border on Monday twice and that cause a serious fight between two forces.

Throughout the event occur on the border between China and India among both citizens lots of angriness exits against them. After that clashes the Govt and citizens both try to show hatred and retaliation in the form of Chinese products ban, firstly they had banned 59 Apps in India territory on 29 June 2020.

Why India Banned Those Around 50+ Apps

The main reason reported by Indian Govt Institute information technology and cyber expects to protect the state’s interests for the leaking of data to external sources and it noticed by them that these apps are involved sovereignty in capturing hidden data and getting illegal benefits from the aggregated data that is extremely dangerous for India.

The sources of India reported that majorly these apps are belonging from china and the country is already very deeper involved in the IT sector and it could be possible to gather data from these apps.

On the occasion of citizen’s hatred about china and want to show unity with their soldiers that’s why the state has banned these apps. The rumors and sentiment not confirmed but not just potentially wanted to kick out the hardware of Chinese products and to become self-sufficient of products for Indians consumer market.

Opportunity For Indian Developers

This ban of apps could be taken as an opportunity of growth and major user adoption of natively developed apps by Indian national tech companies to cover the gap of entertainment and like apps TikTok which extremely used by the Indian community to keep the advert revenue inside the country could beneficial for GDP and generate good amount earnings for companies developers.

It is not yet confirmed that the Govt. will ever left the ban on these listed apps and take out this decision back and soften the Chinese software and apps growth in the Indian market.
